Join us for Cotton of the Carolinas - a presentation by Eric Henry of TS Designs connecting cotton and apparel back together in North Carolina.

Four years ago they launched Cotton of the Carolinas, a
completely transparent supply chain that connects the consumer to the farmer. We go "dirt to shirt" in 600 miles and impact over 500 jobs. Last December we raised the bar a little higher by harvesting the first certified organic cotton grown in NC. Learn about cotton history and the future of cotton in NC!

On select Tuesday nights you can come be a part of the University of Saxapahaw - US University- Where Everyone is Grade A !

Classes are open and free to all (donations are welcome for the instructors) and will cover everything from history, ecology, biology, sustainable agriculture, locovore culture, cuisine, environmentalism, crafts and trades, astronomy, poetry, arts and literature. Participants will receive badges and eventually diplomas all in the spirit of learning and community.
