For the month of October the following coalition of music venues across North Carolina will donate a portion of every ticket purchased to assist with recovery efforts and aid in Western North Carolina. Funds will go to local and national organizations helping with urgent aid and recovery for the people of WNC and to the National Independent Venue Foundation assisting affected music venues. These funds come from the venue’s percentage of ticket sales, not from the artist’s percentage or from a ticket add on for audiences. It is our sincere hope that we can help to encourage all fans and the community of NC to join together to support our neighbors, friends, family and colleagues in the west in every and any way possible! Many venues are also working on collection and delivery of needed equipment and supplies, as well as numerous benefit concerts. WNC, we are here, we know that you need help, and we are determined to do what we all can to take a small, active part, and to invite our extensive contact lists to actively join in.
