Help Saxapahaw Rebuild
On July 6, Saxapahaw experienced a terrible flood from Tropical Storm Chantal.
While the Upper Mill and the Rivermill (building next to Saturdays in Saxapahaw stage) had no damage, many of our neighbors - both residents and businesses, were not so fortunate. Hundreds of people have poured love into this place to help us rebuild. We have been supported by people near and far and we are so grateful for the tools, supplies, time and money that is being given to us.
Our cleanup efforts are continuing and our supply and volunteer needs are changing daily.
You can find out about our current needs by following the Saxapahaw Facebook and Instagram pages.

Paperhand Puppet Project has now moved to a new space but they lost some of their puppets and equipment.
Our trails also need help being cleaned up - you can find the latest schedule for that here.
There are many supply drop-off locations throughout the Triangle that are being organized by Triangle Mutual Aid. Please check their Instagram for latest updates!
If you aren’t able to come out and volunteer your time or supplies, please consider patronizing Saxapahaw businesses- all of the businesses in the Upper Mill as well as the Rivermill (the building next to the Saturdays in Saxapahaw stage) survived the storm and they are OPEN! Please visit:
